In many ways the Lounges broke new ground in Australia including bespoke furniture pieces designed by Marc Newson and a “living wall”. The stonework for both sites was the most important element and unified the entire space. Artedomus worked closely with the project team to resolve details and fixings that allowed for unique forms and complex curves, all the time mindful of articulation and stone matching. To ensure an ongoing premium experience for its customers, Qantas contracted Sofitel for service delivery within the Lounges.

While under the unique and strict pressures of working airside at an airport, Artedomus delivered the project ahead of schedule and with a quality output that was noted as being truly better than world standards.
