Domus Ceramics was founded in 1985 to import floor and wall finishes to Australia. With a focus on unique products having a simple and natural intrinsic beauty that shuns fashion and trends, Domus was soon a source of reference for Architects and Designers.

In 1993 we moved our head office to Sydney and opened a showroom in Crown Street, Surry Hills.

In 1997 Domus Ceramics extended its capabilities to the processing of Stones and the name Artedomus was introduced. By employing our own craftsmen we were able to offer our customers a complete service for all of their tiles and stone finishes needs.

In 2000 Artedomus combined our Sydney warehousing, manufacturing and showroom facilities under one roof in Alexandria. With our proximity to the city and the major architect clusters in inner Sydney we were now able provide a one-stop solution for any project.

In 2002 we developed our relationship with Agape bathware. Combining the world’s most beautiful and innovative bathware with our stunning stone and mosaic selection gave our clients the opportunity to have the best of both worlds.

Since then Artedomus has grown with the world class projects we have completed. Our involvement with the AMP refurbishment of the Sydney Cove building set new standards for stonemasonry in Australia and then we raised the bar again with the spectacular Qantas First Class Lounge at Sydney Airport. Our residential portfolio has grown extensively Australia-wide with our name becoming synonymous with first class quality and detail.

In 2007 our new relationship with Inax Corporation brought the absolute best in cutting edge ceramic design to Australia, giving us yet another unique product to offer to designers and architects.
