One hundred reasons to celebrate Japanese handcrafted tiles

In Melbourne, Artedomus partnered with INAX to present INAX100, a tactile, handcrafted and vibrant exhibition, that highlights the history of ceramic tile making.

The INAX100 exhibition of Japanese architectural ceramics launched in Melbourne, showcased a curated selection of hand-crafted artefacts from Japan’s INAX Tile Museum.

Members of the INAX team travelled over from Japan especially for the occasion and were on hand to walk our guests through some of the rare pieces on show.

It was an intimate and fun opportunity to connect with the local design community which produces some of the best work out of Australia – dare we say the world! It was an absolute pleasure to reconnect with this wonderful set of individuals, and bring everyone together to relax, socialise and enjoy excellent food and hospitality.

The (Emerging) Designer Awards Ceremony in pictures

This year’s awards received over 150 entries from architects, interior designers and product designers across categories of Residential Interior, Residential Architecture, Commercial Interior and Product Design. Entries were nation-wide and of a quality that put the full pressure back upon our Jurors to arrive at our 2024 winners.

The (Emerging) Designer Awards celebrated its 2024 Winners and Commended in an exclusive Awards Ceremony hosted at Menzies Bar, at Shell House in Sydney on 23 October. The Local Production was on hand to capture the best moments from the evening.
