Soft Cove takes the curving, cocooning forms of the Cove chair and transforms it into an invitingly soft sitting experience. The Soft Cove introduces a hand-upholstered inner shell, quilted in Swedish leather, to nestle within the chair’s negative volume. Design to perfectly fit Cove’s curves, the cushion wraps up and over the edge of the armrest to envelope the body in comfortable, cloud-like softness.

“Soft Cove plays on contrast as much as comfort, with the plush tactile softness of the butter-soft leather upholstery offsetting the cool, tactile surfaces of Cove’s terracotta form. It’s both an expression and a reframe, softening Cove into an upholstered armchair that is just as comfortable inside as it is out,” says Thomas.
Hand-upholstered and made to order, Soft Cove is available in a capsule of 25 colours, with clients free to specify any shade they like. The cushion can easily be removed, making it suitable for outdoor settings.
