New Volumes Cove Marrone c/o Thomas Coward
The Cove chair is evocative of coastal formations. Its form, composed of two negative shapes placed on top of one other, exists in a reciprocal balance of lift and support.
Designer Thomas Coward finds the balance between negative volume and generous curves to create an armchair that easily translates from indoors to out. Made from Italian terracotta, Cove chair is now available in the earthy Marrone terracotta, a tone which Thomas describes as being the most “honest expression of the material” and extremely versatile for indoor applications.
