SURFACE Edition is making space for great design. Extending slow conversations for our built environment, into a generously large, highly collectible print edition, we present SURFACE Edition Vol.1.
It’s generously large, highly tactile and carries the weight of quality while still remaining light enough to tuck under your arm or pop into your tote. We’re excited to launch our very first print edition of SURFACE Edition Vol.1. As with SURFACE Edition’s digital space, this limited edition ‘broadsheet’ (as we’ve been fondly calling it in the office), is a place where we can converse together, at leisure, about architecture, design, materiality and the built environment.
Carrying the bespoke design of our digital platform into print format, SURFACE Edition Vol.1 gives space and pleasurable time to material-rich conversations that revolve around process and innovation, design ideation and the physical manifestations of this, too.

SURFACE Edition Vol. 1 was officially launched at Expo ’26, a major curated exhibition presented by Artedomus, which invites visitors to step closer, to observe, consider and engage with evolving ideas in materiality, process and craft. Set within the Artedomus Galleria, Artedomus’ newest destination located in Flemington, Melbourne, Expo ’26 gave visitors an opportunity to discover new products and beautiful architectural surfaces in close detail, while also receiving a complimentary copy of the broadsheet.
We give special thanks to the designers with whom we’ve engaged to create this one-of-a-kind issue, among them Georgina Jeffries, David Flack of Flack Studio, Adriana Hanna of Adriana Hanna Office, the team at Hecker Guthrie, Emanuele Benedini of Agape, Matilde Gandolfi of Mutina, Australian designer Jordan Fleming, UK designer Philip Watts and so many more.
