Our Byron Bay Studio is a haven of creativity for the Northern Rivers region

We’ve just opened the doors to our newest Artedomus Studio in Byron Bay. This light-filled, material-rich environment is designed as a catalyst for creativity and connection.

Artedomus’ Byron Bay Studio is both a gallery of architectural materials and a collaborative workspace. Bringing us closer to one of Australia’s most dynamic design communities in the Northern Rivers region, the studio is a destination for architects, designers and their clients to visit, view and experience Artedomus natural stone, ceramic and bathware first-hand.

“Great design is happening in every corner of Australia,” says Phil Brenton, managing director of Artedomus. “Our new Byron Bay Studio enables us to support that creative energy by giving designers in the Northern Rivers region direct access to our large inventory of national stock, as well as a place to connect, collaborate and be inspired.”

The studio captures the essence of the Northern Rivers through its relaxed yet refined design approach and plethora of extraordinary natural stone, porcelain, and tiles. “The studio is designed as a space for creative exploration where you can test ideas, experience materials in their true scale and tactility, and gather for conversations that shape the future of design in the Northern Rivers,” says Phil.

Opening the dialogue between materials and makers, our Byron Bay Studio showcases new and rare products brought into Australia exclusively by Artedomus. These include Italian terracotta, natural stone slabs and tiles, porcelain, Japanese mosaics and architectural ceramics, as well as pieces from Australian design house, New Volumes, and Italian bathware connoisseurs, Agape.

Led by Carolyn Snyder, Artedomus’ Gold Coast and Northern NSW regional business development manager, the studio has quickly become a meeting place for the local community. “It already feels like a creative hub,” says Carolyn. “Designers can make an appointment to come in and collect samples on their way to a client meeting, or linger and explore materials they haven’t seen before,” she says.

As with every Artedomus destination, the Byron Bay Studio is more than just a showroom. It is an evolving environment that celebrates design as a shared experience. “It’s a beautiful, light-filled and welcoming environment, where people feel comfortable to collaborate, connect, and be inspired,” says Carolyn.

The Byron Bay Studio is located at Unit 7, 18 Centennial Circuit, Byron Bay. Open by appointment only: book your visit.
